Estonian colleagues (Tartu Maaülikool) Jaan et al arranged miniseminar and visits in Hiiumaa in order to finalize business guide for reed entrepreneurs and show latest resultus of studies of universities. We had nice discussions in Roomaja warehouse and saw new kind of cuttable reed insulation plates made by chinese machine (Rooexpert OÜ, Toomas). Also very interesting reed roof timber frame/clay passive house was visited near  Soru (owner did not  unfortunately allow  yet any photos).  Siim Sooster told about renovated chapel which I then visited, reed suits well for churches ; peaceful and earthy material (but not too earthy :D).

Hiiu giant Leider was worried about the durabiility of future generations. I am sure he is happy for the COFREEN attempt to make Finnish-Estonian reed bridge.

Thanks for ride and company folks.
